Zaffron had dropped an apple slice on the floor and was rinsing it off in the sink. When she was through, she started to dry it off with a terry-cloth towel. I said, “Zaffy, you don’t have to dry the apple, it will just get fuzzy all over again.”
She said, “That’s what daddy did when I dropped it the first time!”
